San Francisco-based tech company, CodeScience, came to Chattanooga for high-speed internet, a lower cost of living, and a higher quality of life. When planning their satellite office, they chose the Southside neighborhood for its creative, walkable community and active bike-share program. We gutted the ground floor of a former electrical supply house, restoring the building’s large windows and creating open layouts for meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and communal break rooms. Exposed brick and reclaimed barn wood complement the minimal aesthetic, while carpet tiles define zones across polished concrete floors, helping to balance open and private work areas.
